Born in Cagliari on 14 January 1984, Marco Scanu graduated from the University of Cagliari.
He joined Studio Isolabella in 2013 and has since handled relevant cases in the fields of market abuse, corporate crimes, bankruptcy and environmental crimes.
He has also been involved in issues having criminal relevance in the activities of insurance companies, both in and out of court. In light of his accrued experience, he now focuses mainly on corporate, financial and environmental crimes, as well as criminal insurance law.
He is a member of faculty at the Il Sole 24 Ore Business School on subjects of market abuse and corporate crime.
